Salary: £30k – £40k plus Benefits


The Company;

Our client is an award winning packaging company that have been producing high quality control packaging systems for over 20 years, who due to rapid growth are now seeking to appoint a Quality Team Leader/Supervisor to lead a small team.

The Role;

As a Quality Team Leader you will mainly be responsible for ensuring all standards and procedures are maintained, developed, and adhered to through all departments, working closely with cross functional business departments within the group.

Main responsibilities;

  • Implement all relevant procedures described in the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance.

  • Ensure that all in-house systems and procedures are updated, revised and modified to meet the needs of external certification bodies.

  • Maintain quality inspection and product release protocols for incoming and finished product.

  • Coordinating with internal departmental stakeholders / teams to support effective introduction of new products through NPD and NPI process.

  • Update quality documentation and ensure control measures are applied.

  • Ensure that all necessary systems and procedures are in place to satisfy all customer requirements and audits.

  • Respond to customer complaints through full analysis and implementing CAPA countermeasures.

  • Train and develop others in all aspects of the quality system and application of procedures.

  • Undertake internal and process audits of the Quality Management System (QMS).

About you;

If you are an experienced Quality Team Leader and have experience in managing a small team in a role within a production facility you should have the following requirements;

Required;

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools

  • Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices, version control practices and defect management practice

  • Professional certification, such as Six Sigma, Quality Engineer, or Quality Auditor Goods Manufacturing Practice (GMP) compliance experience, training or awareness.
