Location: Oxford

Salary: £40,000 - 50,000 per year


Our client based Near Oxford are looking for a Quality Manager to join their award winning company to ensure their innovative product meets the company quality standards before they go to market.


The role; 

You will ensure the Quality team undertakes all procedures to guarantee all products meet the company, legal and accredited compliance's before going out to market . You will be responsible for the document control, health and safety procedures and company and client audits, ensuring a full understanding of customer expectations to develop and implement quality control procedures 

Main responsibilities;

  • Assisting the company with its aim to achieve ISO9001 accreditation by developing and implementing Quality control procedures 

  • Closely working with the purchasing and engineering departments to ensure quality is met from external suppliers

  • Define and implement quality procedures throughout the manufacturing and production process to ensure customer impact is minimised,

  • Managing all customer complaints ensuring they are directed to the correct department and a response is carried out effectively in a time efficient manner

  • Review all current policies and recommend improvements and how to make these improvements.

  • Manage, train and suggest training for members of your quality team.

  • Suggest ways to improve rejects and increase efficiency  


About you;

Applicants should have a strong background and knowledge of Quality Management within an engineering company.

A proven track record of managing a team as well as making improvements and writing policies to reduce wastage and increase efficiency.

Be able to work closely with other departments to meet the demands of the company ensuring customer satisfaction is paramount.


Required; 

  • Quality Management certification.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

  • Data analysis and statistical aptitude.

  • Good interpersonal skills.

  • Confidence and courage to drive change
