Our client based in Headington are looking for two qualified nurses to assist in their busy care home, where they are currently being utilised as COVID discharge unit. This is to provide care and rehabilitation for patients discharged from the main hospital in the city. This recovery assistance is for patients who aren’t strong enough to return home but are out of critical care and but need additional support.
The role;
This role will be running for a minimum of three months and will run completely separately to the rest of the home and staff to avoid the risks of infection between areas. The Care Home as a whole offer post operative, rehabilitation, respite care, long and short term stays.
They provide a team of dedicated nurses 24 hours a day seven days a week. The ideal candidate will ideally have the following core skills:
Recent DBS check
Evidence of NMC Pin
Training in the following categories:
Health & Safety
Medical Administration
Infection Control
COVID 19
First Aid
Life Support
Fire Safety
About you;
Some experience of using Nourish & Atlas EMAR for record keeping purposes of which login details will be provided. Training on Atlas can be provided prior to the first shift.
You will be required to work every Monday & Tuesday from 7.45pm – 8.00am on weekly basis initially although there will be additional shifts available for the right candidate as the role progresses.
