Position Summary
We are looking for a Junior Pre-Sales Engineer to join our fast-growing global business. They must be an excellent communicator and ensure they can easily build rapport with clients and work well under pressure. We expect the right candidate to be well educated and have working experience in administering Windows domains and working with the full stack of Microsoft technologies. Ideally, they will have experience of Data/Cyber security technologies. Above all they must be eager to learn, be highly organized and be able to manage their time effectively in a fast paced, fast-growing company.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Provide one to one / one to many Presentations/Demonstrations and Webinars either Online or Face to Face where needed.
Provide successful Proof-of-Concepts and provide all technical support throughout the evaluation period.
Troubleshoot/diagnose infrastructural issues prior to and during solution implementation
Complete RFI’s/RFP’s upon request to propose a solution based upon customer requirements and individual business cases
Work closely with customer contacts, Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to build detailed project plans and success criteria for customer deployments.
Work Closely with the product management/development and support teams in gathering feedback and feature requests from prospects to develop the existing product for future advancements in the solution
Test all the functionality within the customers environment and ensure it is meeting the customers’ requirements.
Understand how to translate functionality into solutions for specific business challenges.
Skills Required:
Technical degree or IT specific qualifications (preferably Microsoft)
Working experience in project management and implementing software solutions in enterprise customer environments.
Understand how to perform administrative tasks in Windows with knowledge of the full Microsoft stack including (but not limited to) Windows networking, Active Directory/Group Policy, Exchange, Windows Servers, SQL server databases, Microsoft 365, (Audit Logs, Modern Authentication, MFA, etc), TCP/IP troubleshooting.
Experience in handling complex customer issues and solving problems.
Excellent written and verbal communication
PowerShell scripting knowledge (preferred)
Experience with SIEM / Auditing / Compliance related technologies. (preferred)
Understanding of IT and the business needs of technology. (preferred)
Experience in having worked in a high risk / secure environment. (preferred)
You have experience working with CRM technologies such as Salesforce. (preferred)
