LGV Class 2 Refuse Driver

Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire

Salary: £10.50 - 13.50 per hour

We require class 2 drivers for our client based near Abingdon, Oxfordshire.  Working with a team of loaders you will carry out daily refuse collections across the county.

Hours of work are from 6am until finish (usually 3.30pm) each day with normal days between 8-10 hours. 

Immediate starts available with temporary to permanent opportunities available.

Main responsibilities;

• Driving Class 2 vehicle - responsible for the collections of household waste

• Working within a team to ensure all collections are made across the designated route

• Carrying out collections across the Vale of white horse and South Oxfordshire 

About you;

If you are a newly qualified driver the company are willing to put drivers through their assessment.  With the current Pandemic the government has relaxed the CPC rules so if your CPC expired in March please also get in contact

No more then 6 points on your licence

No previous experience is required, and full training will be given on the job and via assessments.

Benefits;

• Additional bonus payments £60 a week attendance / performance bonus

• “Man down” money of £20 a day / £100 a week

• Overtime is paid after 40 hours, at a rate of £13.78 per hour.  The business has opportunity for OT, including optional weekend works.
