Location; Initially Work From Home / Gravesend, Kent

Salary; £23k - £27k + Benefits



Our client is an exciting, vibrant and fast-growing IT company with its HQ in Oxfordshire. You will work closely with the Software Development Manager at Gravesend, Kent. So, you must be local to the Kent area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a great company with an exciting future to look forward to.


The role:

You will be required to work remotely from home occasionally with the possibility of this becoming a more permit requirement. You will be working on the Web Portal making crucial updates. Successful candidates will be excellent communicators who excel both working within a team and working alone.


Main responsibilities:

  • Design, code and test new Windows and Web software applications.

  • Maintain existing systems and applications, identifying areas that need modification and improvement.

  • Use analytics to provide insight within and outside of the software and platform.

  • Object orientated software design and development.

  • Responding efficiently to enquiries and troubleshooting issues.

  • Liaise directly with the software development manager.

Key Skills:

  • C# .Net development experience (ASP.NET / .NET MVC / .NET Core)

  • Good knowledge of more than one of the following jQuery, Kendo, React, Bootstrap, WinForms, WPF, Databases, Azure or other Cloud providers

  • Good knowledge of Entity Framework or SQL.

  • Good understanding of CSS, JavaScript, HTML.

  • Experience of Visual Studio Online/ GitHub (for source control) is preferable but not essential.

  • Passion and willingness to learn new technologies.

  • Good Communication Skills.

  • Good Timekeeping

Salary Package:

A salary of £23000 - £27,000 depending on experience

Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS Check.
