We are hiring an Infrastructure Security Analyst to ensure our client's infrastructure is secure and operational, to be point of contact for security related matters, and for Third Party providers. Provide security input and support to IT projects.


Results & Responsibilities

  • Security Operations

  • Monitoring and analysing networks, systems and applications security and undertaking remedial activity where required.

  • Identifying potential security risks, reporting risks to stakeholders and owners, implementing remediation.

  • Raise awareness of information security throughout global user base through training and ‘best practice’ methods.

  • Investigate any data breach and implement response activities to minimise impact, investigate how it happened and provide report of findings.


Project

  • Working with project teams to provide security expertise to ensure solutions are secure

  • Identifying and delivering security improvement projects

  • Work closely with Information Security Architect to plan, develop & implement security solutions within agreed timescales and budget

  • Configure and document technical security solutions


Personal Development

  • Taking personal responsibility for skills development, particularly to enhance security capabilities.

  • Actively participating in the performance management process and taking responsibility for delivering agreed objectives.

  • Relationships

  • Manage and develop relationships with third party providers and internal stakeholders

  • Being the security ‘go to person’

  • Deputise for the Security Manager when he/she is not available

Experience

  • Experience with anti-virus software, endpoint security software, intrusion detection, firewalls and content filtering

  • Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies and methods

  • Experience of supporting secure networks and associated systems

  • Knowledge of disaster recovery, computer forensic tools, technologies and methods

  • Ability to communicate network security issues to peers and management

  • Ability to read and use the results of mobile code, malicious code, and anti-virus software


Qualifications

  • IT Diploma level or equivalent experience
