Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire
Salary: £30k - £40k plus benefits

Our client is looking for an e-Commerce Manager to join their team. This is a new role that requires someone with experience, vision, and drive to help us develop our existing e-Commerce offering. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing an e-Commerce store, ideally working with OpenCart.
You will have experience of driving continuous improvement in online sales and ideally have had some exposure to furniture markets. We are also looking for an understanding of eBay and other online marketplaces as well as a good grasp of PPC and SEO activity. You will work closely with the sales, purchasing, and marketing teams as well as managing a small team of offsite website administrators.

We would expect you to be based from our office in Didcot.

Key Responsibilities
Overseeing Design and Development of three websites
Manage updates to each website.
Create and manage roadmaps.
Be aware of new developments within e-commerce.
Manage a small e-commerce team consisting of tech support and content managers
Liaise with development teams to ensure all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Work closely with the marketing team to plan SEO and PPC activities
Produce and analyse traffic and conversion numbers.
Maintain a high satisfaction of user experience.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activity from an e-Commerce perspective
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Required
(Shopify, BigCommerce, OpenCart, etc) experience
Experience working with large data sets in Excel
Strong knowledge of Google Analytics and metric reporting
Strong commercial awareness and a proven ability to analyze data
A passion for eCommerce and the furniture market
Exceptional trading experience with tangible examples of initiatives and innovations which have been implemented to add value
Preferred
Experience working within the furniture industry is preferred but not essential
Excellent communication skills
