Our client is an exciting, vibrant, and fast-growing company based in the midlands. They are dedicated to integrated technology products and security services in the world of Media and Entertainment, this is a great opportunity to join a growing company, working for an exciting team.

The role:

You will be an experienced and enthusiastic DevOps Engineer working in the DevOps team offering the opportunity to work on a large scale cloud hosted application in use by many major global media companies from satellite / cable broadcasters to sport rights owners and movie studios.

You will report to the DevOps Team Leader and initially work from home, and then eventually be based in the Birmingham Office. The role consists of maintaining and developing cloud-based infrastructure services while making continued service improvements. You will have a strong Linux Background, and have experience supporting complex multi-tiered services.

Key daily / Skills

• Working as part of a team on a large-scale application in use daily by major global media companies.

• Planning deployment of new / updated infrastructure components.

• System monitoring and day-to-day management.

• Working with technology and infrastructure vendors.

• Management of data synchronisation and backup processes.

• Strong Linux.

• AWS.

• Terraform.
